Why Sushi is better than chocolate (almost!)

Okay, maybe it’s not better than chocolate, but it’s still a good question. Why is sushi good for you? We all know sushi has beneficial qualities that are great for the body, but what are they? It all starts and ends with the ingredients. We have compiled a simple rundown on main sushi ingredients and why they are key contributors to a healthy lifestyle, they are:


Sushi can incorporate many different kinds of vegetables like fresh cucumber, carrots, avocado, asparagus, mushrooms to name but a few. These can provide much-needed vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin C, dietary fiber, iron, beta-carotene, potassium, and antioxidants.


There isn’t enough said about the value of fish and why that’s good for us. For starters, fish can contain Vitamin A and D, calcium, magnesium. Fish provides added protein and omega-3 fatty acids.
